High/Low: A Peppy Multicolor Rug, Two Ways
Spied recently: a rug of many colors that looks uncannily similar to a designer option. Take a look:
Low
Above: The dupe: the Fringed Indoor/Outdoor Rug from Anthropologie. It’s available in three bright colorways: pink (shown), blue, and neutral. It’s made from a blend of polyester, cotton, and rayon, which makes it suitable for outdoor use but far less eco-friendly than an all-cotton or wool option. It’s $398 for the 5×8 size.
High
Above: And the original: This is the Kvadrat Multitone Rug by Dutch designer Hella Jongerius, made from wool in “a twine of colored lines that create a colored grid, as if to look like the famous Scottish tartan texture.” It’s $2,832 for about a 6.5 x 9.8′ size from Mohd.
