Holiday Gift Guide 2025: Stocking Stuffers for the Grownup Set
Adults need stocking stuffers, too—especially if they’re in the useful and beautiful category. This year, just say no to filling their stocking with tissue packets and jumbo packs of gum (is that just my family?) and consider gifting a couple of these cool finds instead, all priced $30 or less.
Above: For the frequent flier, a pair of comfy slippers with a flat-pack profile. The Simple Waffle Slippers come in 12 colors, including Mustard (pictured); $30 at Hawkins NY.
Above: Minimalist and petite, the Mani Candleholder by Humble Ceramics can be used to store matchsticks, too; from $28 at General Store.
Above: One can never have enough kitchen towels. The Slate Cotton Waffle Tea Towel by Mungo is available in three colorways (pictured is ochre); $18 at Heath Ceramics.
Above: Got a tea drinker in your life who just can’t seem to quit microplastics-laden teabags? Gift them a container of Raazi Tea, which uses biodegradable plant-based sachets; $16.
Above: I’m convinced there’s no one on Earth who wouldn’t be charmed by this paper washi tape featuring cat illustrations. A set of 2 rolls of the Japanese Cat Tape is $8 at Wms & Co. (The larger size is $14.)
Above: The tiny little bowl is one of the most useful storage items in the house. It can be deployed to contain hair elastics, jewelry, salt, paper clips, and so on. East Fork Pottery’s Bitty Bowls are currently on sale for $11.20 each.
Above: Beloved Oakland restaurant Camino closed in 2018, but its founders Russell Moore and Allison Hopelain are still making Camino Red Wine Vinegar, aged in oak barrels for four months; $25.
Above: Still can’t get enough of the fish trend. Snap up these Handmade Steel Fish Clips, made in India, while they’re back in stock; $2.99 each at Boston General Store.
